[Falando Dev. Na Real]

Vou ver se tiro umas horas de hoje para continuar a migração do NaReal para Nodejs.

Pense como é um saco configurar ESLint e Typescript e Prettier etc... Porra Deno, pq você foi morrer?

0 problems doesn't mean 0 risk

Oxlint and Bun canary run eslint-plugin-baseline-js, but their JS plugins get no TypeScript types, so users.toSorted() on a Baseline 2022 target slips through. ESLint with types catches it.

also working on an every-lang-linter that has its *own* language for its defs/rules/config, is >200x faster than eslint+typescript-eslint (--cache doesn't work with tseslint), emphasises user and agent control

can you tell i'm focused on base building blocks?

We've been working with maintainers on typescript-eslint and making sure they have the tools they need. We think it's currently in a good spot, but let us know if you experiment with it a bit and run into issues.

is the preview api far enough along to build type-aware lint rules on, or will typescript-eslint still need the old js compiler api for that?

Kết quả: Oxlint chạy cùng bộ rule chỉ mất 118 mili giây so với 9,56 giây của ESLint — nhanh hơn 81 lần; Biome mất 131 mili giây — nhanh hơn 73 lần.

bun lint is coming in Bun's next release: an ESLint-compatible linter with 1,021 built-in rules that reads your existing eslint.config.js. Plugins that aren't built in still run in JS.

Fast lint matters more now that agents edit code in tight loops.

Microsoft's c# server Roslyn does formatting, the old omnisharp did formatting, tsserver for typescript/JavaScript has it afaik(but you still want to use eslint), Haskell's language server supports it, and actually even rust-analyzer handles formatting through the lsp api

Forgot an authorization check and shipped a data leak? gdp-ts from uses Ghosts of Departed Proofs to make TypeScript fail the build when a required entitlement check is missing. Proofs are minted only in trusted modules, and ESLint and Oxlint presets block forged ones. It adds near-zero runtime...

not "failures" per se, but when asked the agents said:

- we hit no guardrails
- but here's a list of ESLint and TypeScript errors we encountered

so maybe the agents have a different definition of guardrails than what I was presenting 😄
