The only ads I see, especially political ads, are the ones being mocked on late-night TV shows, on YouTube.

I literally don’t see a single ad.

It feels so good denying big tech bros ad revenue .

ControlPanel for Youtube (bunch of mods)
No Youtube Shorts
YT Block (comments)

and of course, uBlockOrigin.

these run great in Waterfox, because I'd never install actual Firefox ever again.

OpenAI's ad collector at bzr.openai.com sets a cookie called __obi, scoped to .openai.com. The value is while you are on ChatGPT and tied to your ChatGPT account. __obi is then sent to OpenAI from ordinary websites you visit. Any company that buys ads on ChatGPT installs

Stayed up an extra hour after finding myself neck deep in the quicksand of writing an xpath filter for uBlockOrigin Lite that could successfully block Facebook ads now that they have officially given up on maintaining those filters... and I have succeeded!

Happened again, first time in a while. I was preparing to shut PM down because memory was at 83% used with Waterfox running too. Proton has changed login page. FWIW, I was able to get password filled in before entering master pw in the popup dialog box. It wasn't intentional, but thought I'd mention it. If you don’t like big tech billionaires not paying taxes, then you should stop using their products, like Google Chrome, and start using #uBlockOrigin and/or #AdBlockerUltimate to block their ads so you don’t contribute to their ad revenue. No whitelists.
