It's always fun as orientation starts on campus, with all the new first-years arriving ... all dressed up in their appropriately flash gear for their first day of university, bright-eyed and dazzled.
Takes a good semester or so for them to turn up in uggboots, pyjama bottoms & a fleece to lectures.

Ich habe ein paar Stiefel hier, aber die sind hinüber. Die Sohle innen ist kaputt und mit Einlagen, die das überbrücken würden, sind sie zu klein. Deswegen müssen Neue her. Uggboots würden passen, aber die würde ich nicht mal tragen, wenn ich stattdessen barfuß sein müßte. Nur über meine Leiche!
