Well that sounds a bit like uisce.
I live by the river Exe, known to the Romans, via the Celtic locals, as the Isca.

No more data centres!

Serious investigations need to happen by Uisce Éireann into water usage in data centres.

Nobody knows or even seems to want to know how much water is being used by these energy-guzzling data centres.

"Whiskey" is derived from the Irish Gaelic 'uisce beatha', which translates uisce = 'water', beatha = 'life', or 'water of life'.

There was little standardization on spelling, but by the 16th century, it was typically being spelled 'usquebae' which is where we get the English word.

riddle me this, is Uisce Éireann urgently calling on the data centre industry to limit water usage this weekend?
Uisce Éireann is "urgently calling" on the public not to use the garden hose this weekend, and for as long as the hot weather continues, as drinking water usage remains "exceptionally high".

We know that out of control data centre development has led to 23% of electricity being consumed by data centres.
A recent report found that data centres consume 80% of electricity in Dublin, yet Uisce Éireann can’t or won’t tell us the effect of data centres on water consumption.

Small things like grids, utility and manhole covers can make a real difference to the feel and character of a place.

Just look at the difference between the iron ones and the shitty boring plastic, cheapest value tender version here in Clonmel.
