Only very bad countries has the death sentence still. You cannot have a death sentence until you can be 100.00% sure of that person being guilty and most of the time, those on death row are 95-99.9%, even a 0.1% uncertainity is too high of a risk to take a life.

Haven't really been active here for the last couple of weeks cause my anxiety has spiked to levels I never thought were possible cause of uncertainity related to my uni work, but at least I am seeing the Lemon Twigs this week, so life is still doable

I've not been to a con since covid lockdown for this reason, it's priced out my range now, got too big and I honestly don't like the uncertainity that lottery systems bring to the table. Bad enough waiting to see I get in but then it's worse thinking. "What if those I know don't get in."

Been at the edge of insanity due to paranoia- that uncertainity of what is wrong with my body- kidneys, liver, a secret third thing- i was legit going insane- all for it to be a disc in my column that is hitting a nerve that is causing me pain orz
