Presented earlier this year, the plan drives heavy spending on connectivity: Rs 76,000 crore for 3,358 km of national highways over three years, linking key industrial corridors to export points; elimination of level crossings via 774 overbridges and underbridges at Rs 14,500 crore; and railway projects exceeding Rs 3 lakh crore, set for rollout between 2026 and 2029.
Major boosts include the near-complete Bhogapuram International Airport (operational by June 2026), new greenfield airports, and advancing ports like Ramayapatnam (75% done), Mulapeta, Machilipatnam, and Kakinada SEZ.
Tech upgrades feature a unified dashboard and mobile app for real-time tracking and analytics, plus commodity-focused improvements in cold chains for fruits and vegetables.

Went on a Sam Gendel excursion yesterday, and while not everything clicked, there was one bright spot - I learned about the Echo Bridge Appreciation Society in San Antonio.
My city may not have the perfect echo bridge but we do have some good, accessible underbridges. I'm going to do the work

This is a new addition to Bruntwood Lane, seemingly going against LTN 1/20's requirement of a minimum 2.3 metres over cycleways. The poorly surfaced sliver of track to the side, if intended to provide an alternative for cyclists, is a bodge and not fit for purpose.
