#underfunded
In an age where universities are constantly understaffed and underfunded, if Florida State is going to authorize paying a coach $50 million in buyout money, then President and every other administrator agreeing to it needs to get the boot, too.

A reconstructed federal knowledge infrastructure in which the NEH resumes its former marginalized, underfunded role doesn't actually serve the public interest.

"AI tutors could be good to complement underfunded schools"

Hmnn and why are the schools underfunded again?

The common go-to defense of itch as a platform is that they are too small and too underfunded to do things people want (like implement QoL features or moderate slop), and I keep coming back around to "itch also lets you set their cut to 0, if not the default 10%," and how maybe that's unsustainable
I mean, it seems to me that "itch lacks the resources to do X" and "itch lets you set your cut to 0%" are related issues, and I'm not the only person to suggest that maybe itch needs to raise their baseline percentage if that's what it takes to have a better, more responsive platform

Send some to Angie Nixon in Florida. She is Incredible but underfunded.

Never again let anyone tell you that the Met are underfunded when they have millions to waste on operations like this.

Even our most underfunded tribes and tribes dealing with their own corrupt administrations are still operational, key positions are filled, and for the most part still able to do their jobs, with checks and balances still in place.

And while using Jewish safety as a political prop, Trump's FEMA froze and underfunded the Nonprofit Security Grant Program in 2026 so badly that *over 77%* of NSGP applications protecting synagogues and nonprofits were rejected. Dems pledged to fully fund NSGP and probe white nationalist terror.

Every iteration of 'ed reform' comes down to

Step 1: Take money from already-underfunded public schools
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Repeat Step 1

i know they're comically underfunded relative to the size of the operation but half this fanfest being "it'll come later" is kindaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa not great

I have felt for a while now (going back years to the last time "itch is super small and underfunded" was being bandied about) that the obvious solution to this would be for itch to set a higher baseline cut, which I'm sure would be controversial, but again, if the site dies, then what?

Arts have always been the unwanted step child of education, underfunded and poorly staffed, because too many Americans see education through a pecuniary lens. That attitude has now broadened into an attack on the funding of the humanities and even the social sciences in higher ed.

im hesitant to go into detail about why im posting this, but new changes in life have created a situation in which im severely underfunded for rent, food, gas, general expenses, and expenses outside the general.

An example for a #BetterByWard if anybody cared to listen. Instead, we’re going to implement a mediocre plan from seven years ago that’s underfunded with no clear vision for use of public land in buildings beyond privatization

Great news from Market Halls - footfall is up 29%, and sales are up 25% year-on-year.

Powerful to see the Oxford Street pedestrianisation already having a big impact for local businesses.

Why can't they? Because they haven't been looked after. When the Tories underfunded everything with their austerity policy. Housing crisis? Roads? Immigration enforcement dept? Asylum caseworkers? Brexit? Food banks? Poverty? All underfunded

on X, VoteHub's Zachary Donnini recently said something I've been thinking myself: despite the Democrat being a badly underfunded perennial candidate, Angie Nixon is clearly driving so much Black turnout in Jacksonville specifically that FL-04 should be considered on the board.

GenAI is not the only thing cultural institutions have to deal with; they also have to deal with being chronically underfunded.

Fund the arts and artistic education programs. Please. The next Patrick Stewart will thank you for it.

How can these companies behind infallible, new form of intelligent life A.I. go underfunded or bankrupt? Shouldn’t the A.I. be smart enough to prevent it?

On November 1, 1947, the first retail sales tax in Alaska took effect in Sitka. It was 2 percent on all sales and services and meant to fund drastically underfunded schools. #alaskahistory #alaska

Victoria pitches itself as the 'education state'. Yet our public schools are chronically underfunded - with facilities crumbling, class sizes ballooning and teachers at breaking point dealing with ever increasing workloads.

For a third consecutive weekend, hundreds of thousands have protested across Europe over living costs, housing crises, and underfunded schools. From unaffordable housing to limited opportunities, young people demand an affordable future. Institutions must listen.

Yeah, if a bunch of you got fired and remaining budget spent on a golf course your already perennially underfunded agency might have some thoughts about Trump wasting their time
