A very unfortunate lesson to learn after far more anti-trans Democrats (40) than pro-trans Democrats (3) won on Tuesday.
My top line takeaway from the election is up: NOBODY HAS TO BE LEFT BEHIND.
It turns out we DON’T have to sacrifice trans kids to win. We DON’T have to deport our neighbors. We DON’T have to support abusers with Nazi tattoos.
We can just *have principles* and win.

For those of us who’ve had the unfortunate experience of leaving an abusive relationship, this is the quiet before the storm. I got a year-long smear campaign when I didn’t respond to his threats and went no contact.
