I've seen some leftist youtubers where the channel's premise was "I used to be a cop, but now I'm an anarchist, here's how I unlearned my biases and got better", but if they had not disclosed being a cop and it had come out years after, I'd imagine people wouldn't trust them either.

If they didn’t teach you this in school get familiar it will change your life. What is learned cannot be unlearned. 
I learned about Sophie Scholl and The White Rose when I was in school and lately nearly every day, I think about her. Her strength and bravery cannot be quantified. She would be appalled by the MAGA movement. May she never be forgotten.
