That’s just being good students of the rivalry, like how I’m mad at UofA for lighting out student union on fire in the 1950s despite being born decades after the fact.

ASU and/or UofA should study all of the econ, environmental, sustainability effects of using models like these balanced against using CO river water in the wasteful, outdated, unsustainable way that lettuces have historically been produced.

At an open mat with a bunch of UofA students on Tuesday an overly aggressive kid split open a coach’s forehead with a heel and immediately got put in the shark tank. Remains to be seen if he’s back next week.
This also happens in every MMA and BJJ gym in the world. Testosterone-fueled new guy comes in thinking he can fight or grapple because he's an "I just see red" guy. Gets immediately put to sleep by someone half his size. Never comes back.

When I was at UofA they had installed those emergency blue light stations. But there were only like 3 that I can think of, and really far apart. But that's the first time I had ever seen anything like that (late 90s)

haven't seen stalker on the big screen since we put it on in one of the big classrooms in the then-new engineering building at the UofA. did unsanctioned screenings for our friends in those rooms weekly for a couple of months, passing a bottle of gin around.

About a year ago, UofA vs BYU 🏈, it's tied in like the 2nd OT, Wildcats have the ball on 4th & 7, so they at least need to get 7 yards to have a chance to win, instead they throw a long shot to the corner of the end zone, overthrown, game over. Maybe they still would have lost; but terrible call!

I suspect that underlies some of the EEB love of the particular. For example, what is a replicated study? (Sure, your model worked for sparrows, but my warblers? Different beasts entirely!).
