...since it felt way too prescriptive, but I'm honestly puzzled when people realize "this uploader is a problem in this feed which I would like to use" but don't take the step to unsubscribe from that uploader.

For anyone curious, we investigate whether an image is AI generated by examining the other work from the uploader. We will often go back 5 to 10 pages into their previous work to see if anything is AI generated. If even one piece is, we do not use anything from that uploader.
