My work laptop is USB-C so I can just carry my phone charger to work and it charges my laptop, phone, earphones and Kindle.

My wife got a new phone, which means that every device in my home that needs to be charged regularly is now USB-C. This is the tech thing that has felt the most like the future to me in the last half a decade. Replace everything with USB-C.

My "I have too many microusb cables and I can't find a USB-C cable to charge my one USB-C device (my phone)" problem is now my "I have too many USB-C cables and I cannot find any microusb cables to charge this one microusb device I found in storage" problem and I think technology is great

because the USB-C connector supports multiple protocols besides simply USB (like displayport, thunderbolt, etc.), I conclude that the "C" in "USB-C" stands for "cloaca"
