I honestly think Jev has endlessly useful usecases
Here it is! You can declare arbitrary semantic rules in json and it will warn or error when ran! Primarily designed for CLI or agent use but there is also a simple VSCode plugin I'll work on more later. a 20k line rust project costs well under a cent. Please file issues if something is wrong!

I honestly think Jev has endlessly useful usecases
All other issues aside, there's going to be major "prompt engineering" burnout for some if not all usecases.
Having to create precise verbal instructions is way more taxing & ultimately less rewarding than browsing stock, or sketching, or talking ideas w/ a human artist, or just writing the copy.

Puh ich habe mal durchkalkuliert wie es finanziell aussehen würde, wenn ich auf ein Auto verzichte und stattdessen für die paar Usecases wo ich es brauche, Mietwagen nehme.

There are basically only two positions in the debate about AI.
1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.
Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.

False dichotomy. My position is that "AI" is a deliberately diffuse marketing term pushed by commercial companies so that consumers confuse machine learning (very useful for e.g. tumour detection) with large language models (moderately useful in /very limited/ usecases)...

I think people are way too narrow-minded about what the usecases for AI actually are. They focus too much on a narrow category, retail chat bots, which are only a sliver of the usecases being developed.

My favorite invasive species fact is dumbasses brought eucalyptus to Southern California, thinking it could be a viable source of lumber - without realizing that the wood is unworkable for most usecases.

I also think the cat is quite out of the bag, and so: I advocate for open weights. I work on usecases for the tech that I think can help distribute their power to people. I go the optimist route, because hell somebody needs to push on it.
