His message is loud and clear: My technology will take political capital away from one of your greatest enemies—liberal women with degrees—and give one of your favorite demographics to patronize—working class men—more political power to transfer to you. trib.al/OQDUwsh

A practical utopians guide to the coming collapse - David Graeber
What is a revolution? We used to think we knew. Revolutions were seizures of power by pop- ular forces aiming to transform the very nature of the political, social, and economic system in the country ...

Putin appears in the Epstein files 1,000 times. Masha Drokova (here) and Jagland, former prime minister of Norway, coordinated their financial plans. These alliances—between oil and sex, pedofiles and crypto-utopians, corrupt and ‘clean’ governments—paved the way to the current ordeal

BREAKING: RJ Reynolds, one of the largest U.S. tobacco companies and maker of Camel and Newport cigarettes, donated $5 million to Trump.

Days later, company executives reportedly met with him at Mar-a-Lago to push for looser flavored vape regulations, after which the FDA changed policy, per NYT

What's new with Blades in '68? I've been giving every playbook and crew sheet a punch-up, both graphically and mechanically. Here's the UTOPIANS crew. They have good intentions (probably).

The Marxists with rational solutions became the Euro industrial left and the utopians filled graveyards in Eastern Europe until the prophecy finally failed in the 60s.

The best way I can distill their differences is that Utopians imagined socialism without class struggle. Reformists imagine class struggle without socialism.

the evidence of actual history is of course full of blood and war and patriarchy. so these utopians tend to retreat, as in "the god of the gaps," to places where the light of evidence shines less strongly--a world before states, possibly even before agriculture or sedentism

Apparently this guy is baiting for attention.

Unfortunately, with the tech utopians, it is impossible to distinguish parody from serious arguments.

We need people willing to be realistic and demand the impossible. We need utopians as a plurality rather than individual personalities offering the moon on a stick and then crashing out and spawning a conspiracy movement.

*standing knee-deep in water from a pipe leak I have only made worse over the last 4 hours* knee-deep water in the house is just the reality we're in, there's no fairy-tale magical world where some "plumber" gets *all* the water out of the house; you utopians need to listen to the adults in the room

The administration has two main impulses: kleptocracy and reactionary ideology. The kleptocrats just want to squeeze as much money as possible out of the government. The reactionaries are utopians who think that if they roll back the enlightenment then power and prosperity will magically happen.
Trumpland is full of idiots who believe that economic & military capabilities fall from coconut trees. They're ignorant & arrogant people who obsess over branding & aesthetics. They think they're about hard power & machtpolitik, but they're actually doing the dumbest possible version of soft power.
this guy has no idea what the american military is (the most sophisticated logistics operation ever assembled in human history)
