Utah's avg mountain soil moisture (a good indicator of spring runoff) recently hit levels so high it actually surpassed the avg spring runoff.
What does it mean? That's TBD, per one of the top hydrologists in the state #utwx

Huh. The guy I hired to check on my dad's place a couple of times a month outside Capitol Reef NP says one of the young trees in the yard just fell over because the soil is so saturated. Roots seem OK, so he's going to try prop it back up & tie it upright to a couple of the metal fence poles. #utwx
