A ground-level perspective of Cheap Street in Frome, England. A narrow, moss-lined leat (water channel) runs straight down the center of the historic flagstone lane. The street slopes gently upward with traditional medieval timber-framed buildings and shop signs lining both sides under an overcast sky.

I forgot to post this for “transportation” last week, but it also fits this week. A disused trestle bridge in SC.

A long, empty two-lane asphalt road cuts straight through Welsh highlands toward rugged mountain peaks under a dramatic, golden hour sky. The low hills on either side of the road are covered in greens, browns, and golden autumnal grasses. The clouds overhead part to let rays of golden sunset light shine through.

A single-track, narrow-gauge railway runs through a scenic woodland in North Wales. The rusty steel rails, sitting atop grey stones, lead straight ahead and curve slightly to the left into a dense forest. In the far distance, the peaks of mountains in Eryri (are) rise into a blue sky filled with heavy clouds.

Sidney Harbour Bridge

#ECK #Sydney #Australia #SydneyHarbourBridge #Photography #VanishingPoint #Lines #Perspective #UrbanGaze
This shot was taken from the pedestrian walkway across the bridge. Immediately to the right runs the train tracks. The bridge is made of steal which is painted a deep umber brown. There are curved/arched protection fences to keep people from climbing over the bridge railing. All the horizontal lines of the bridge converge in the distant vanishing point located at one of the brick towers at each end of the bridge. The sky is blue with scattered white clouds.

An empty, modern underground platform in Málaga. A long, overhead strip light runs directly down the center over a tiled walkway. Two safety strips run parallel into the distance—a black one on the left and a bright yellow one along the edge of the platform. Glowing orange signs reading 'Salida / Exit' and a red info display with a round analog clock hang from above.

Looking down a flight of concrete stairs that lead to an underground passageway. The walls and arched ceiling are made of heavily weathered clay bricks in earthy tones. Two modern light fixtures are affixed to the wall on the left side of the staircase illuminating the stairs and casting shadows. An open iron bar gate is at the base of the steps.

The Connecting Bridge.

Not sure if i shared this before, maybe or maybe not. I love scenes like this because of the irregular repeated patterns and the vanishing pathway.

A high-angle street view of a busy intersection framed tightly on both sides by the sleek, futuristic modern high-rises with curved white balconies. The bases of the buildings feature large, vibrant public art installations in rainbow colours. Two with bold horizontal stripes and another further back with doodle art. Down the street a third similarly modern high-rise can be seen in the distance. In the foreground on the right are the dark green fronds of the top of a palm tree and in the background the sky is overcast and mostly colourless which makes the rainbow art pop in the image.
