And just like that, the first week in June is behind us. Crazy, crazy. I won't lie. I'm kind of glad, partly because it has been a really long week for me. Whatever virus/cold it was I caught that caused the laryngitis has really knocked me about and I am still suffering the after effects now. Between that and the insane two-roles work schedule, I am so drained that reading has been really hard going this week. Which is annoying as I was loving the book I was reading, I just couldn't concentrate or stay awake long enough to manage it.

And another one bites the dust. Can you believe that we are pretty well at the end of October? As much as I appreciate the extra hour in bed brought about by the final Sunday, the fact that next Saturday is November is still absolutely shocking. And good. I've had tickets booked for Moulin Rouge The Musical in Brum since last year and next weekend it is finally time.

Okay. Time needs to slow down now. How are we one week into July? This madness just cannot continue ... Or maybe it can. Can't stop the passage of time, right? All you can enjoy is enjoy what you've got while you've got it. This past weekend I attended a baby shower - not my usual doings by any stretch, but nice to celebrate the impending arrival of a future generation.

I cannot believe November is nearly over. How is that possible? This past week has both been hellishly slow and passed by in a blur, largely because I was asleep most days when I wasn't at work, aside from when I should have been asleep at which time I was wide awake and primarily in pain, but that's another story. At least I made it through to Thursday in one piece, and my day off on Friday.

September is passing by quickly, don't you think? Not quite sure we have ended up in the final third of the month already, but there we go. Good news for me is that I have finished the final module project write up for my apprenticeship, one more group session, a review with my coach, and the assessment to go and I can put it all behind me.

Well, that's it then. March officially ends today, the clocks have jumped forward an hour, spring has (allegedly) sprung, and Q2 starts tomorrow. Who'd a thunk it, right? This year is passing all too quickly, but that is no bad thing. I was on training all of last week, staying down in Weymouth. It's a long old drive from where I live, but it was nice being back by the coast.
