For your laptop, you can use VeraCrypt to encrypt your hard drive and create a decoy operating system which you can boot into based only on which password you use, so CBP won't even be able to tell there's anything else on the computer.

That's when you give them the secondary password that instead unlocks your Veracrypt partition with a spoof instance of your OS with only fake data on it (and convince yourself this fantasy is ever actually gonna play out like you're in the CIA or something)

Keep them in an encrypted archive you can upload to Protonmail / Drive, to access later. Veracrypt is a good encryption tool.
9. Communucate using e2ee encrypted messrngers, like Signal.
