I was at a fundraiser tonight and noticed the DJ was spinning vinyl and mixing on a Vestax and I went over there and talked to him and he and I discussed Technics and white labels and had a jungle vs dnb discussion and I realized that this is my 'Dad talking about the lawn with other dads' moment

It was never easy looking after #Vinyl even when trying to be ultra careful, especially when playing them on a not-so-hi-fi deck in the early years. I stream the MC albums from #itunes mostly unless feeling a little nostalgic for the pops and scratches. 😂 Thankfully they all play pretty well now :

The Beatiles Please Please Me. Needs little introduction, one of Stanley’s favourites and probably my favourite Beatles album. It’s got that raw rock n roll sound and the lyrics have a touch of innocence to them.
