This preservation issue is huge. There is so much music that used to be hosted at vgmix for just one example, a site that defined hundreds of musicians' careers and no longer exists.

Seriously, if you're not familiar with Jake Kaufman by name, you know his music. He's scored so many great games, and he was also a co-founder of VGMix back in the day.
He's also working alongside Yuzo Koshiro on the soundtrack for Mina the Hollower, which means it's going to be incredible!

VGMix was king, in my eyes. The good mixes got bumped up, bad mixes got buried, but everyone got a chance. And you had the opportunity to TRY.
