#videolaryngoscopy
The ease of tracheal intubation with videolaryngoscopy cannot be inferred from glottic view alone.

A structured approach that incorporates what was used, what was seen and what was done may improve communication in clinical practice.

How small is too small for #Macintosh videolaryngoscopy?
In 192 adults with anticipated difficult airways, an interincisor distance <21–23 mm was associated with increased risk of #videolaryngoscopy failure.

Awake tracheal intubation as a high-acuity, low-occurrence event: is widespread videolaryngoscopy to blame?

Only 23% of respondents said the frequency of their awake tracheal intubations DIDN'T change after the widespread use of videolaryngoscopy.

77% think that the guidelines should be re-evaluated considering the more widespread use of VL.
