There was a world where people played weird, strange games like Talislanta (No Elves!) or Villlains & Vigilantes, or were all one big extended social group that existed someplace in Wisconsin. It seemed awesome, and unreachable, so fuck those guys.

Yes, it is very funny and on the nose the one speaking alien is only in the film to emphatically say "We are all worthless evil parasites so don't feel anything but good about killing all of us. There is no moral ambiguity in this film."

Yes - years of complaining about villains (any medium) "being unrealistic" it's painful to admit that the shit incoherent villains "I'm polluting for no reason!" were the realistic ones.

I think the villains were kinda just okay. Mostly I felt like their stories were wrapped up waaaay too quickly. I especially felt like Sabaku's revelation and the truth/resolution with Dark Precure was very rushed.

I learned a valuable lesson about protecting recurring villlains - if you're planning to use plane shift to escape, remember that counterspell exists.
Also, not a fan of the UA topple mechanic, which far too easily kept my bad guys prone. From our playtesting I'd say it needs nerfing somehow.
