Incidentally, are there any notable Kul Tiran, Draenei, or Vrykul handymen?

Half of his heritage, the Drakkari - He never grew up among them, he was born during the death throws of Zul'drak, raised among Vrykul and Horde members. Still he has this slumbering core within him that keeps him tied to them. He's also blessed by Harkoa, one of the major Drakkari Loa, which also-

"No you see, you dont understand! Sylvanas! She's gonna turn against the Horde! because! When she defeats the Lich King! She'll become SUPER DEPRESSED! And strike a deal with those winged vrykul women! And then! AZSHARA, will, like.. make her give a DAGGER to her to stab an Old God! Cuz the jailer!"

Do you think when Odyn saw orcs for the first time he went "Oh, fuck, these vrykul were a mistake" or something like that?
October 22, 2026 at 9:22 PM
I love Legion but what it does to the broken isles never sat right with me. Like when I saw this I was just "Huh? Wha? Thats not the broken isles. Wheres the lush tropical jungle and vine covered ruins at?? Why are the vrykul here??"
October 20, 2026 at 3:15 PM
Ages ago I thought you could totally adapt the vrykul as being pacific islanders instead of vikings here. Since its an offshoot, take a different inspiration to fit the isles. Make them all bigass Maui people.

Or hell use sea giants, they could use some fleshing out

Wonder if it will be a case of the reverse, where actually the vrykul were original, and iron vrykul were either made based on them, or were vrykul turned machine? Similar with the others. We have seen a mecha-gnome turning gnomes into mecha-gnomes before, right?

Tyra Stormhowl, the elf-blooded Vrykul woman is as sturdy as she is determined. She will take on anything or one with a smile on her face. Eager to prove her worthiness to Odyn!

(Amazing piece done by @elliezeekaye.bsky.social Thank you for your hard work ^w^)

Yogg never really felt in charge of the 'Iron' dwarf/vrykul stuff, and Loken died in a 5 man. There was some wonkiness with that plotline.

The Sha were actually pretty good as an eldritch enemy but they never felt world ending because they were region locked and reactive not proactive.
October 17, 2026 at 5:17 AM
Ehhh, firm disagreement on Yogg. Despite the great lines he had in the raid, he actually had one of the weaker buildups because they cut the stuff with the Vrykul 'Sara' that was supposed to help build him up.

If you didn't pay attention to quests about "Saronite" you wouldn't really know his deal.

Left this comment on Crendor's recent video about Northrend and Pandaria eventually showing up in WoW Forever and now I really want my Mogu continent 😭

Tyra might be a massive and savage half-vrykul woman that tears apart monsters and claims trophies for Odyn, but she's still a cheery and playful woman under it all!

(@artistaleal.bsky.social thank you for this amazing piece you did! ^w^)

do people believe that there are no female broken because of this long time game design flaw. no female titanforged vrykul. where does the logic go to die.

Being of the Vrykul means she often serves the one who offers the best deal and the best hunts. Though sometimes there's other perks to be found.

Ok but Yoggy has a hot buff vrykul lady avatar. You were a fish that one time

Blizzard give me Vrykul as a playable race >.<
September 28, 2026 at 5:11 PM
I love vrykul. This looks great
September 28, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Yes, more Vrykul! This is my half-Vrykul character Ulfric! He's a dragonsworn of the Drekirjar clan in Stormheim and I've been playing him since Legion

"These naga intend to use their generators to melt the surrounding ice caps, though these plans have been thrown off course by their defeat by the Kvaldir, a clan of Vrykul which are also raiding the tuskarr."
September 27, 2026 at 4:20 PM
I'm rambling but imo in "Forever Northrend"

Horde should have closer ties to Nerubians, parts of the Drakkari, Magnataur clans, and the Tuskarr tribes.

Alliance should be closer to the Titanforged (Storm Giants, Earthen, Vrykul, surviving Tol'vir), Frost Cenarions, Furbolg and the Dragons.
September 27, 2026 at 4:20 PM
That'd probably be Howling Fjord as it depicted a fair amount of Vrykul shamanism
September 23, 2026 at 1:44 AM
I'd personally rather us get Tuskarr than Vrykul. Or Vrykul to go Alliance us to get Bulk Trolls or Taunka for Horde.
September 18, 2026 at 4:51 AM
Tuskarr, Taunka, and Vrykul. Calling it now.

Tuskarr are clearly neutral. Vrykul for Alliance. Taunka for the Horde.
September 17, 2026 at 8:29 PM
So for the end of Midnight: no Amani trolls, no High Elves, no Nagas; for The Last Titan: no Vrykul, no Taunka, no Tuskarr, no Frost Dwarves, ...

But hopefully we got Earthen and Haranir that nobody knew about before the trilogy and nobody asked for 🫠
As a retail player, I didn't really enjoy WoW Q&A 🙃

Retail: No new race for the trilogy, no first name/last name, can't say more too much spoilers, bye

Forever: Short answer for all you asked for: YES! new race, new zone, new class/race combo, Quel'Thalas, Azeroth focused, can't wait guys! ✨🙏🥰
