"Possibilities enter the world at the horizon," Veeker mused to himself. Maybe that's why the only place where his Gift didn't show him the (sometimes eventual) deaths of the people around him was here at sea. But just what the horizon was bringing them now, the young Starteller could not say.

Coral grew over the charred ruins of the wreck. An entire ecosystem thrived. But within the rotted wood invisible things grew as well. Ghosts of the crew and their demons, hidden and trapped, biding their time with hearts set on revenge. #vssGhostShip
