The Meon Valley Trail is probably one of the most tranquil trails within the South Downs.

Once a railway line running transporting agricultural produce, the trail now spans 11 miles through picturesque countryside.

Some people walk for fitness.

Some for mindfulness.

Some just to see a little bit of magic in the sky.

Walking through Kingley Vale:

Start: “What a lovely stroll!”
15 mins later: encounters spooky tree with creepy vibes
End: "I'm never leaving the house again!"

Jokes! The Kingley ghosts are, in fact, very charming.

May is National Walking Month, a great time to get outside and immerse yourself in everything the South Downs National Park has to offer.

So, what are you waiting for? Put on those boots, dust off the trampers and, in the words of the legendary Aerosmith, get ready to #WalkThisMay
