Ok, let's celebrate the #warblurs! It's not warbler season but it's always a good time for a #WorstBirdPic.

It's migration time and the warblurs are here! I believe this is a Canada Warbler who was working its way through my yard, busily grabbing bugs. #Birds #Butts
A small gray bird with a yellow throat and belly stands on a diagonal branch looking up and to the left A gray and yellow bird has its butt towards the camera as it raises its wings and is about to take off from a branch

Fall warBlurs anyone? Couldn’t pick just one #WorstBirdPic!
A small bird is perched behind a series of twigs. The bird is blurry and silhouetted against the pale blue sky. The twig and leaf in the foreground are in focus. A small bird with white and brown stripes on its underside shows off its white butt as it slips away along a branch. The bird is not in focus but appears to have something in its beak, probably a snack to fuel its migration. A blurry small bird, possibly yellow, is shown silhouetted against a sunny backdrop of green and yellow leaves. The background is in focus instead of the bird. A small bird is coyly hiding behind a maple leaf instead of allowing itself to be seen and photographed clearly. The leaf is turning orange and obscures most of the bird’s body. The tree branch is clearly visible and has several patches of lichen.

😂 yes it is. I saw a few little
Warblurs high in the trees early this morning from the back deck. I didn’t see any this afternoon went I finally went for a walk and I can only assume that they were foundered and couldn’t fly around anymore.

We're making this a thread of my #firstoftheyear warblers and #warblurs this spring. (I am vain, so if I got a better pic during the same weekend but it's not actually my ~first~, I'm showing you that one. Deal with it)

Let's go:

Thank you! I'm going through the warbler pics from today, and they are kinda hilarious. Perfectly in focus trees and warblurs.
A Magnolia Warbler hovering to grab a bug from the underside of a leaf. The leaves are in focus. The bird is not. An American Redstart on a twig. A nearby branch is in focus. The bird is not.

I love it!

Now to go tag everything on iNaturalist as warblurs so at least the people who are like "yes that yellow leaf is obviously a scarlet tanager" at least know I'm trying
