Could've even gone into the idea that said Felguard was promoted into a commander, a Fel Lord, as a reward for slaying the Warchief and destabilizing the Horde.
Thus could've led to a fantastic substory arc of the Horde + Tyrathan hunting him down and making him pay, Vol'jin's spirit helping them

Could've even gone into the idea that said Felguard was promoted into a commander, a Fel Lord, as a reward for slaying the Warchief and destabilizing the Horde.

I've already toyed with "What if Rexxar was Warchief" which I kinda kept levels of resentment and distrust amongst the Forsaken and Alliance aimed at him.
But in a similar vain, I do think Dranosh would be really well liked by the world mainly.

One of the bigger "what if" questions from WoW. Garrosh's failures are ultimately his own, but beyond that Dranosh would have had a much stronger support system if he had become Warchief. Varok would not have sunken into depression or stayed in Northrend. Better relationship with Vol'jin and Cairne.
