All wargamers surely abhor wasting money … so here’s the two unusable extra “left hand” halves of the 28mm Victrix elephant kit on their way to be used as casualty markers, with replacement ears made out of cut-up old credit cards.

Es un juego que dirigí semanalmente de 2008 a 2011. En 2012, nos mudamos a Pathfinder. Y la razón fue que, aunque el combate era muy entretenido, ESO ERA TODO LO QUE OFRECÍA. Incluso la cuadrilla de wargamers para la que dirigía se cansó de jugar a un juego de skirmishes.

I'm less familiar with TTRPG cultural practices since about 2018, but some newer wargamers seem genuinely unaware they can modify rules at all. (Puzzling as that is.)

Third thing, I don’t wanna say wargamers have no sense of art. The chuds don’t but that’s gonna be true no matter what. Honestly I think we’re just starved for half of even European history. Like there’s almost nothing in the age of sail and even less focusing on more than the actual battle.
Man I love how war gamers will see the most bland vibe coded naval game and be like “this is good,” and then find a hand crafted gem of one made by someone in their spare time and it’s more positively received and feels so much better, turn around, and consume the slop machine some more.
