Hope we get WarhammerFest this year, will definitely go :)
Had a whale of a time at Warhammer World today!
Made a lot of people smile and played a game of the old world!
Even met Nick again!
Very tired now 😴

If we don't get WarhammerFest next year, any indie tabletop gaming cons in the UK to recommend?

This might be my favourite list I have ever run at an event. This was 8th edition just before the rule of 3 was introduced.

a WIP on Mugruk Da Watcha. I bought these at the Warhammerfest 2023, and they've just sat there for two years now.....so it's come time to paint 'em.

This is the piece I'm most proud of. It's my only ever entry into a painting comp (Warhammerfest '23) and I got a finalist pin. I'd umm'd and ahhh'd for weeks about entering, and my mate finally convinced me to enter, and he was right to do so. I'd recommend it at least once to anyone.

I'm getting so excited for #Salute25. I think it's because it's a new con for me, but I will actually know some folks there already. Doing WarhammerFest a couple of years back was really scary because, professionally, I was a complete unknown.

There were some fun posters at Warhammerfest a couple of years back, but I've only got the one pic.

The fear is that it becomes like Warhammerfest/Games day, it got half arsed, they got pushback so then it gets shelved instead of being done with the proper effort it deserves.

What are the current odds on a WarhammerFest 2024 taking place? Feels like a very late announcement if it's still going to be held in April

If only we could! It was done with props at Warhammerfest!

Some pics of my 30k White scars army. Started this back at warhammerfest'23 but it's mostly been on the back burner due to running several Necromunda campaigns back to back. Definitely want to get back to it and add a fair few more units.

People were mean about the last Warhammerfest in Manchester so I think we’re being punished.

They had something like that at the last WarhammerFest in the UK.
Though it seemed to be pre-bookings only.

I bought it after seeing the 'Nids at Warhammerfest with plans of building up a new army. Did some of the marines and then got sidetracked as per usual. You can never have enough terminators, though.

First off I wish GW would explain why a game they have teased a new release we haven't seen before by the end of the year didn't have Necromunda on the docket for Warhammerfest.
Is it a secret surprise, or is this just another verbal tease with no images again?

#TableTop nerds. What events are we going to this year? I have booked #Salute and #GriffCon. I was waiting for #WarhammerFest but do we even think that's going ahead?

On #hobbystreak day 501, watched more WarhammerFest reveals. Excited to see the teaser for (maybe?) a new version of Epic 40K. That was the first GW product I bought back as a kid. #warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity

On #hobbystreak day 500, watched all the WarhammerFest reveals (more new Tyrannid biomorphs than I expected!) and swung by the Warhammer store in ABQ to pick up a box of stuff for my club. #warhammer40k #WarhammerCommunity

Thankfully no new Guard stuff at WarhammerFest today. My wallet needs a break.
