A little paint on paper, some of it really shiny. 😂

Because I needed something distracting.

@dazza1639.bsky.social posted this spiral galaxy awhile ago, and I wanted to paint it...but spiral galaxies are weirdly hard to paint.

Anyway...I finally painted it!

A watercolor painting of a spiral galaxy with a bright white center and lavender, blue, and reddish brown spiraling out from the center. On the left, a reddish brown arm travels to the top where there is another bright area of mostly light lavender. Spiral galaxy with a bright white center, and light lavender, blue, and reddish brown arms spiraling from the center. On the left, the reddish brown goes up into another white centered galaxy with a light lavender-pink hue. There are stars around in the darkness of the space surround the galaxy. Pinwheel with a white center, red and blue lines curling out from center, and a white ring around the pinwheel. This is set against a black background splattered with tiny white spots as stars. An image of space with three galaxies. On the left is a small white swirly galaxy and, above it, a red swirly galaxy with a white center. To the right is a large pinwheel galaxy with a white center, red and blue lines curling out from the center, and a white and red set of stars circling the pinwheel.
