Do juv WBDs winter in a different location to adults, hence the lack of juvs in current influx (presumably triggered by weeks of SE winds)? Juv seabirds of some species are less efficient foragers so presumably would expect at least as many juvs being wrecked like this?

Just a reminder to my fellow AEW fans that Tony Khan OWNS AEW so it's not a WCW situation even IF (and it's still a big if IMO) Skydance buys WBD. And even if that happened AEW is one of WBDs most successful properties and is constantly in the top 10 on cable. Why would they get rid of it?

Awful pics. Taken on 8/2/26 at Broughty Ferry. A large distant diver so I defaulted to Great Northern. Editing pics last week, there appeared to be consistent details that look like White-billed Diver (pale panel on neck/bill shape/tone). Forth WBDs seen on 9th. Was Tay bird maybe around then too?🤔
