They're relatively comfortable hunting in near-full daylight & are classified as vesper bats ("evening") in family Vespertilionidae.

They set up housekeeping in limestone caves near water, where colonies never get very large, typically a single extended family.

Most of us have also droped the ball on covid.

It's still out there, killing and definitely disabling millions. While the vaccines help to limit hospitalizations, it does not stop transmission or stop any long-term damage.
Weaing a well fitted mask for yourself & others is the caring thing to do.
