Takes more expertise and set up time to get an installation of Wordpress going with a separate webhost, but my current webhost (inmotionhosting) has a great button you can click to automatically install it, which is SO MUCH easier than the old manual way.

Daniel is located in Scotland, so UK GDPR applies and everyone can use it.
Hugging Face is a US company, but acts as a host for 3rd party datasets uploaded by users, so DCMA is the way to go.

For email, @proton.me. Took a minute to set up and there are some quirks, like all the emails in your multi-email account feeding into the same box in their in-house app. But VASTLY better/more reliable than email via my webhost, and I can separate out the boxes in Apple Mail. Also secure.

- make my own website where all my art is, and not rely on instagram as my main archive anymore
- have an RSS attached to this, probably with a Bear Blog, so people can use RSS feeds again. We gotta bring it back

We've been using NearlyFreeSpeech.net as our webhost for years, and it's reasons like this that we're glad resources like them are out there! this whole thread has great reasons why you should use their services.
