My realistic armpit system in VRChat, using two corrective blendshapes and vrc contacts.
My goal was to make my avatar’s armpits hold their shape and deform realistically even when the arms are raised, something avatars and 3d models often struggle with, weightpaint still wip.

Added a cool hint for the eye, brows and eyepatch to be visible through the front hair!
Also custom outlines with weightpaint vertex groups baked into vertex colors.

The rig of this model, after a month and a half on working ONLY on the rig, it’s finally close to completion, I just need to tweak some stuff regarding the readability of the rig and weightpaint issues on the wings and it’s ready to finish up with fur 💖

oh damn, I used to make a copy of the head bone as a root bone connected to the neck, weightpaint hats to that then add a rotation constraint parented to the head to it, I didn't know there's head chop value stuff
