The odd-eyed mage looked invested, leaning forward to peek over the cauldron's top, "I just use the incantation and it... works?" Nodding, the crone chuckled, "It's folk sorcery because most humans can use it with nothing more than their life energy as fuel." The mage nodded and turned to the familiar by the crone's side, gesturing to the ground as she intoned, "Please, may I sit there?"

She took my hands in hers kiss soft, welcoming more then she starts. Hammer down knuckles first, then fingertips, wrists smashing methodically till its nothing but red powered bone. Sinew screaming without sound I watch try to block it out, dissociate the pain. Pulling me into a kiss, “Stay with it don't go away”, Nightmare begs as if I could, as if I'd ever leave her. “Have you learned it yet”, she asks pleasant “Do you know why we do this every night?” She levels the hammer on my head next.

It was the perfect plan the killer had placed together. They would take the bones of their victims to the mill. Cleaned of blood, muscle, and skin, leaving no trace behind. To be ground into bone powder.
