Yeah, that's usually the problem with taking stock market dips too seriously, is often they either just obliterate gains from 3 months of exuberance or else they reverse themselves within 24 hours.
Here's NVDA. They went "down" to oct 2024 or jun 2024 prices and are still 3x their jun 2023 level.

Not spending US dollars for one day when you will buy what you otherwise would have bought before and after, is fruitless and business owners know it. Boycotting oligarchs across the board is more useful. Until we hit the streets in earnest, let's visit Costco wekly!

The Turkish baths were still a feature of the hydro in 1909, according to an ad in the Carlisle Journal (21 September) but they were demolished in 1930. A 1909 wekly charge was from 3 gns to 4 gns! Members of the Phip family also owned standalone Victorian Turkish baths and several hotels with them.
