@bestalbumbrackets.bsky.social Fishing for 1988 album recommendations are fit for the Halloween season. Now, absenting Danzig, *the* Halloween album is King Diamond's 'Them' (runner-up: Rudimentary Peni's Cacophony), an essential for your October delvings, but curious for recs outside my wheelhouse

That's not really their wheelhouse truth be told
October 6, 2026 at 7:44 PM
Bigly! Truth is not in their wheelhouse.

I've also yet to read other books like this, so I may have moved TOO far out of my wheelhouse. I'm not at all used to books like this. But I don't think I would wanna read this again.

I accept, of course! This is right in my wheelhouse. I'll make you your crown!

Looks like I have something I was not planning on having to learn and do: check, edit, and validate a process for performing investigations regarding safety for both in-person stuff and online.
It's something that's definitely outside of my wheelhouse, but I have the Internet to help me. :D

> Their capabilities only ever seem good when they're conducting tasks outside of the user's specific wheelhouse,

This is absolutely not true. Maybe it's your experience, sure.

But talk to a professional mathematician who works with these agents. Not to mention regular enterprise software.

That I was struggling to parse “ACOTAR” suggests this probably isn’t within my wheelhouse! I figured it out from the b/g images though 🤓

8. SAWYER

On my latest rewatch I was shocked to find that I liked “Confidence Man” more than “Walkabout.” Sawyer is maybe the character who feels most complete from the beginning—his Dostoevskian drive for self-punishment is pure Lindelof wheelhouse—and his arc through season 5 is nearly flawless.

Trump promised dozens of times to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. So, Ukraine attacking Russia oil industry is still in Trump's wheelhouse.

I used to be, but stuff changes constantly and then the amount of money required to keep up is just so much. Battletech was always in my wheelhouse due to Mechwarrior and definitely replaced that special interest over time. There is so much lore and fortunately doesn't get huge retcons like WH

need any help? this is kind of my wheelhouse
October 6, 2026 at 4:36 PM
@jessicaberlin.bsky.social, I could use a Europe thinktank expert to consider some of this... perhaps it is in your wheelhouse.

Mid-life chaos alone should lodge it pretty close to my wheelhouse these days.

Here's a glimpse from the wheelhouse of Swift. ⚓

While you're relaxing with a coffee, taking in the views, our skippers are busy navigating England's largest lake and making sure every cruise runs smoothly.

Finishing up a reread of SHADOW OF THE TORTURER along with the @rereadingwolfe.bsky.social podcast, and it's an odd thing being six years behind the pod and hearing the James and Craig puzzling over things that fall in my wheelhouse and not knowing yet if they'll ever get them
October 6, 2026 at 1:35 PM
@fortunatafox.bsky.social Draws SFW, and is perfectly fine with plus size characters!

Also, did your ex-comissionee deadass say your character was ugly? What the hell. They could at least be professional and say that body type is out of their wheelhouse and decline on that ground.

Their capabilities only ever seem good when they're conducting tasks outside of the user's specific wheelhouse, no matter what their skillset may be, which suggests to me that no, they're not all that capable. And they are not worth the massive human health, energy and env. costs to play with.

Have you seen Otogirisou? I think it would be absolutely in your wheelhouse...

Surely Liverpool will be looking to go in for Alex Scott now he's injured. Right in our wheelhouse.

I wish I had the skillz!

I haven't done art/drawing in ages and I'm really really rusty.
Silk screening is WAY out of my wheelhouse (though it'd be fun to learn).

I just applied for a corporate editor job. Outside my wheelhouse but I was surprised to note that my CV ticked all its boxes. It's a punt, but worth a try.

It was probably inbreeding. This is in my wheelhouse. She was stunningly beautiful. The bust is one of the finest works of art ever created.
