yes let's throw multiple hundred euros and hours and hours of sewing and wigmaking and crafting onto a piece of plastic instead of doing the same exact thing only on a bigger scale LOL

My #HadesGame #Hades2 #Hadesii #Persephone wig is...uh...
This is attempt 2 and I am just constantly screaming "trust the process" as I have today and tomorrow to finish it up before we leave for #MCMLondon #MCMComicCon

Send me strength, sanity, and maybe some snacks?

#CosplayWIP #WigMaking

A half finished wig on a wig stand. There are big spikes of hair standing up in multiple directions which are messy and unkempt, with more wefts of wig hair on the table nearby.

HELMET WIG MAKERS - HELP! SOS!

I've got more of the details here but the base is pulling away from the shape of my head and I have less than 2 weeks to make this work 😭😭😭

An image of a half made helmet wig being tried on. The side is sticking out quite far from the head. The wearer's face has been covered with cartoonish eyes and a red blob done in the basic Paint program because she's tired and sad about it.

Reference image of the intended character - Persephone from Hades 2. She wears a long green dress with gold belts and a green leaf pattern. Her hair has large spikes and a messy ponytail draped over one shoulder with a wreath of yellow orange and red leaves around the main head.

Right? I know wigmaking as a craft is on the decline in general, but did Jess Bush insult someone in the hairdressing department? Because, yikes.

Decided on a career move....taking up wigmaking.

I see a huge demand as more and more folks keep setting their hair on fire.

And i am yet again wondering if I have what it takes to dive into the world of wigmaking so I don't have to spend so much on custom wigs lol

Also because apparently there are no good Frankie Stein available and I will not settle on garbage for my beautiful enby monster

After a near-death experience in 2022 I razed my life and ran, leaving all my props, costumes, books, toys, and sewing / wigmaking equipment behind in a storage cube. Please buy my porn, subscribe to my premium pages, and tip as you are able so I can get my stuff back!! lucylarue.com/sponsor-tip-me

The inside of a pod storage cube full of XL and small sized cardboard lowes moving boxes labeled "Lucy's Storage Unit" - costumes, sex toys, lingerie, sewing tools, and props

Some other fun Hades things, I got to work on wigmaking for the first time. REALLY liked how it came out.

Y'all wigmakers are crazy btw.

I want to come back to it and fix it up some and have ideas on how to make it better!

It took like 6 damn hours to brush this out. My wrists hurt so much. Long hair wigs are no joke.

Here's the gluing. Arda wigs had a tutorial on how to do the persephone wig so I was following that to the best of my ability.

This also took like 6 hours spread out over many days.

Overall, extremely good first crack. I couldn't find my wig cap that night so I just went with it.

I need to go back and add an attachment inside so I can prop the hair up on top of everything, and hairspray things down more aggressively so the styling stays
