For two decades a flying fox carried buckets of clean white sand over the dunes behind Maslin Beach to a railway siding on the Willunga line, and the Noarlunga Sand Company fed the concrete of a growing Adelaide.

The Coast to Vines Rail Trail follows the Seaford line past the station. Just south of here it diverges from the Seaford line, to continue along the alignment of the old Willunga line, which was closed in 1969. (3/4)
