I am really ambivalent about my theism because it’s more of a soft theism, and it’s one that acknowledges the existence of spirits in some manner, but is also in many ways antagonistic to anybody whose institutions do great harm: Gods included. They are culpable if they are real

I was thinking about this in terms of my journey through western occultism, and on tumblr, witchblr is ALLLLLLLL ABOUT following a specific pantheon and being a reconstructionist, and I just have to believe it’s because they are looking for someone to tell them how to be a witch “correctly.”
