* backport kernel version 6.12.9 for amd64 ISO
* added throttled-0.11.tar.xz into build tree

i never fucked witb openbox but i like how easy it is to make wmaker look like crusty old software in a good way 😄the only issue is if you go over like 1200p its almost unusable

first seemed like a possible partial upgrade - reinstalling all major packages from chroot didnt do shit
can still open and use wmaker just fine
not in the position to get a new drive for it but might need to, ill see if it keeps this shit up after a reinstall

use flags are too scary and kind of annoying so i stopped trying to figure out gentoo ... i usually either use debian or void (void on laptops debian on desktop pc and thinkpad bc i run windowmaker on the think pad and debian has packages for every dockapp i need for wmaker)

im pretty sure 1800p macbook display is like... the highest display size i could have and still have wmaker dockapps be convenient and useful ... i love wmaker though my favorite wm :)))

i use wmaker on multiple things =w= saber wallpaper is my main pc and the other one is on a macbook pro 2013(? forgot model year). i have to stay with 1920x1200 monitors max or it starts to get really small bc dockapps arent made to scale higher than the default and neither are gnustep icons

wmaker themes are easy as fuck to make just grab like a tiling texture and hue shift it to match ur wallpaper or do little pinstripes like old macos or smth and then wmaker lets you add gradients and stuff to it in wprefs. wmaker isnice bc unlike a lot of wms u can configure most things in a gui lol

ok we got a hybrid zfs pool and a basic wmaker setup going and netflix is working via vivaldi. steam and emulator setup will happen tomorrow

ah hows that been coming along ii looked at it a few months ago and it wasnt superrr functional yet when i did .. theres also the. wayland wmaker recreation but i dont know if. dockapps work with it thru xwayland since ive not played with it yet

no idea how stable gershwin is rn tbh, i havent actually tried it in months. the screenshot in the readme looks more advanced than what i remember though so im guessing its been proved
