I know woldbuilding is fun. I like it too. 99% of it has no place on the page. You do not want every story to have that scene in shitty PG13 horror movies where the teens look up the monster on Boogle.

i sure love when the nuclear family is present as what it actually is: a rigid structure maintained through violence. And to illustrate that the woldbuilding mimics and parallels the violence outside of the house with the one inside of the house.

Been playing Aniimo a lot for couple of days
I kinda like this game more than Poke and Pal, the exploring and the side quests are very fun and it uses the borrowing your monster's body (Link) not only for combat purpose but also the woldbuilding and narrative as well

Well, the first PAX video was such a bomb that I'm rethinking how to approach things.

I always think if you want to make sense of a sci-fi movie's woldbuilding, every time it says 'universe' substitute 'galaxy' and when it says 'galaxy' substitute 'star system'.

Ich glaube, die Reihe ist so mit Abstand beste Buchreihe, die ich in den letzten paar Jahren entdeckt habe.
War anfangs zwar nicht ganz so von überzeugt, aber das Woldbuilding hat mich echt komplett gecatched. Ebenso der Schreibstil und wie spezifisch die Charaktere dargestellt werden. *-*

Sorry to hear. As not all games will work for everyone I don't know what it is you didn't like. It worked for me due to its laidback atmosphere, careful woldbuilding and touching narration. Arranging all you've collected in a scrapbook was also fun
