The PAIR and PEAR Word Cards from my upcoming game Wordpetition!

PAIR and PEAR both scale and trigger when you spell a two letter word. PAIR is for fire, PEAR is for points. Both of these cards boost any builds where shorter words are spelled more

Image shows the game's dictionary (which is actually a collection of discovered Word Cards). The dictionary is presented in a pixel art book, the same as the book that shows you the current or next pages (pages are called bosses). On the left page, there is a search filter that says "Filter 6/43 Words," followed vertically by a list of Word Cards that are in the game. The strings of text that are shown in the list are "anagram," "ball," "blue," "eight," "six," "streak," then "????????". Every discovered card has a preview image (which is the image of the full card but resized to be smaller) on the left of the word displayed that needs to be spelled to obtain that card. The preview image for the "????????" element in the list is a transparent and grayed out version of the default texture for a Word Card. The "blue" list element is selected in the list. On the right page, it shows the the "blue" Word Card, followed vertically by "BLUE" in blue text, then the description of the blue card.

The shop from the game! There’s a rainbow background that’s meant to hide the main game, for the shop to have focus. There’s bright yellow text that says SHOP at the top of the shop. Underneath, there is a green next round button and a reroll button on the left. Also underneath the yellow next there is a E letter, a space/blank letter, an A letter, another space letter, and a Z letter on the right. More Word Cards (jokers) from the game! RAMEN: 2x fire, loses 0.005x fire per card drawn. (Uncommon). COOKBOOK: Spawns a random food Word Card for every 5 valid words spelled consecutively. (LEGENDARY). ARSONIST: When a space (or blank) is “scored”, destroy all cards behind it. Gains +1 fire for each card destroyed by this card. (Uncommon). HINT: +75 points if the spelled word is a special word. Shows the closest special word, in the text box below the card. (Common). HAND: Allows you to hold +8 more letters. Also gives +8 draws. (ordered from left to right)
