I really hate to say this, but changing my Docs background to another color and putting my font in that damn Comic Sans broke through my writer's block on this ghostwriting project.

ARGH

I am not happy to admit that about Comic Sans, at all.

I've been struggling with the ending of the second book of my current WIP and I had an epiphany yesterday that instead of a duology, this series is now going to be a trilogy bc the way my MCs and villians are set up....they need another book to conclude this hot mess 😫🤦🏾‍♀️ #WriterProbs #Romantasy

I didn't know I would be into the masc/NB lesbian x high femme lesbian until I put Vere and Edie together and now I'm like ... oh. I get it.

(Read about them getting together, it's a very aggravating slow burn tapas.io/series/All-V...)

Hello new MMC who is tumbling around in my brain trying to turn yourself into a full-fledged character with a story arc and everything.

Please stop.

I'm already in the middle of one draft with too many revisions to do on another.

aaahhhhh

I always set a goal of at least 12 books a year -- 1 a month. I was doing really well until I got sucked into writing. 😂 When I'm reading I wanna be writing, when I'm writing I miss my TBR. #WritingCommunity #ReadingCommunity #WriterProbs #AmWriting #IndieAuthor

Good morning! Did you set a reading goal for the year?

If so, what was it and how close are you to reaching your reading goal?

Bonus points for sharing books you're planning to read to help you reach your goal!

Worrying my way through my third rewrite of my WIP. It’s like I’ve never written a book before. Reached out to a writer friend for comfort, and she said, “Some books are just assholes.” Yup. That pretty much sums it up. This book is a major asshole. #writing #writerprobs #contemporaryfantasy

Nothing like your brain stumbling across a NPC that would work well with your OC's lore, except it would mean you'd need to change some existing lore in your head about said OC, so now your brain worms are arguing about it.

Totally.

Got to relax in a small, artsy coffee shop for the first time in a while today and realized I've done my characters a great injustice by not writing them a cool hangout place like that. Now I have a strong urge to pause the plot and just write them taking a coffee break. #WriteSky #writerprobs

I go from several chapters of deep emotional ruin, grief, loss, existential dread, to roughly 8 days of sexual tension -- okay, got that, successful, it was hot.

Now back to trauma. 😅

I hate this story. I hate these characters. I hate how their autonomy is ruining my life. I want to write a bomb into the basement and kill both of them because it would be easier than two middle-aged men trying to figure out their feelings. #writerprobs

Alpha reads are hard because I know the writing is ROUGH (usually brain-to-page tbh) but I still crave that feedback. But then people are like, “eh, this isn’t great” and I have to be all… “I know.”

I swear my brain is mush now. I went to the library this morn and I could only write 3 pages. 🙃 I think my brain was spent after releasing that 1st 15k word ch & the 9k one. 😅 Maybe I need a break? Idk.
