Nothing like your brain stumbling across a NPC that would work well with your OC's lore, except it would mean you'd need to change some existing lore in your head about said OC, so now your brain worms are arguing about it.

I've been struggling with the ending of the second book of my current WIP and I had an epiphany yesterday that instead of a duology, this series is now going to be a trilogy bc the way my MCs and villians are set up....they need another book to conclude this hot mess 😫🤦🏾♀️ #WriterProbs #Romantasy

I didn't know I would be into the masc/NB lesbian x high femme lesbian until I put Vere and Edie together and now I'm like ... oh. I get it.

Got hit with the nasty norovirus over the weekend, attempted to write through a fever yesterday (why do I hate myself??), but am feeling SO much better today, so 🤞 I can finish draft 4 today!

I go from several chapters of deep emotional ruin, grief, loss, existential dread, to roughly 8 days of sexual tension -- okay, got that, successful, it was hot.

Alpha reads are hard because I know the writing is ROUGH (usually brain-to-page tbh) but I still crave that feedback. But then people are like, “eh, this isn’t great” and I have to be all… “I know.”
