Who's the Daddy? progress today. The 5,000 words is roughly for the entire chapter, the 686 of 500 is what I've written so far today.

This is my writing buddy tonight.

Say hello to Jasper, the rescue that lives in my office because the other cats are mean to him.

Without fail, 99% of the time, after complaining about not enough specific types of fics existing, loud haters of the opposing ships'll tell you THEY "can't" write fic, they just want OTHER PEOPLE TO DO IT FOR THEM
AO3 isn't a content machine that just randomly generates fics if enough ppl complain
A twitter screencap Pink User QRTs Orange User Orange: [REDACTED] shippers are so loud for a [REDACTED] with a 16-4 [REDACTED] ratio Pink: you know what else is funny abt the 16:4 [REDACTED] ratio? [image of a ton of AO3 listings, with the subjects censored but showing the different numbers for each item. One is over 8000 and the next ones down are 6.9k, 3.6k, etc lowering in number. The screenshots are clearly trying to show that the "undeserving" ship/pairings are having more fanworks created] Green User replies: Be the change you want to be in the world! Write more [REDACTED]!!! Pink User: i cant write and publish it or i will cringe and kms(kill myself) bur(but) if i could i would

This is not okay.

Really not okay.

Fanfic readers, please do not do this.

Secret Trick for getting authors to update their works. So one thing I like to do when I notice that a fic hasn't been updated in a long while or if I can tell the author is dealing with writers block, is that I will create a bunch of different guest accounts all with different usernames and then I will comment supportive and encouraging things on their work to inspire them to keep updating. (Of course, I do this all separately over the course of maybe a week or two because if it all happened at the same time it would look suspicious.) This, way they will feel motivated to keep updating because they think a bunch of people really enjoy their work when in reality it's just me.
