West Virginia teachers at @UCOREjustice talking about how healthcare affected 1 in 9 public workers, and that previous generations of labor activism and history buoyed teachers and public workers to wildcat strike #55strong #wvteachers

Update: And another hour gets us back to #55strong despite the Governor's Tuesday press conference. ✊🍎 #WVteachers

I taught for eleven years in public schools with lots of great folks. Worked hard to change lives. I support #WVteachers. #55United

Many of my current and former students attended WV public schools. Today would be an fine day to thank your favorite teacher(s). #WVteachers

Took some time to visit some teachers, so that my kids could see it close up, and so that we could show our support. These are good people. #WVteachers

Update: One hour later. #WVteachers

I see an increase in national attention and energy; I score today as a win for #WVteachers and a loss for the governor.

When your end-of-strike press conference is premature and your cooling down day warms things up... #WVteachers

Actually, it's a beautiful day. #WVteachers #55strong #55united

Today, after the settlement was announced, I saw teachers in the usual spot with signs that said "Thanks for your support." Classy end to a game-changing effort. #55united #wvteachers
