I love the nerd-fonts xbps package. I will not regret a 2gigabyte font package. There is nothing wrong with having 2 gigabytes of fonts on your system

Void-linux seems to be a good distro.
I gave it a quick try and I like the scripts it provides and the package manager xbps.
Void also supports musl which is good to see! It's hard to find distros that have a musl variant.

In my defence it takes like 10 minutes to download cjk fonts because void mirrors are ran on windows 95 machines apparently

In Void Linux, XBPS has a way to handle binary alternatives
"xbps-alternatives"
Like you can switch from:
dracut to mkinitcpio (if you got mkinitcpio installed)
dash to bash (default is dash but can be switched to the installed bash)
python3 to python2 (if you got python2 installed)
