🦌ended up just installing xorg, going into an x11 session to mess with the nvidia control panel and setting the rgb range from "full" to "limited," and then going back. now I can have normal colors and also multiple monitors... let's just not think about when kde is removing x11 support (this month)

A known issue is that on AMPGPU and QEMU Virtio Video graphic cards the mouse cursor is displayed vertically crushed and with a slight offset. For now the workaround can be used that I submitted here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/work_...

There is the Xorg binary included on the kernel I used here, but you can't just boot to Xorg sadly

Maybe soon idk I'll try (also I might switch to kernel build I'll do myself)

Yeah, though it does work (I have my 6700XT working on Xorg) I still prefer Nvidia for FreeBSD because they make the drivers and they generally just work just fine. The 6700 I'm only using via Bhyve to run some Windows stuff still but have not tried it for a while and those drivers updated a lot.
