I had to test ePubs from @weirdfictionquarterly to see how well they played with the new Xteink 3 reader.

It turns out, pretty well!

I haven't seen the xteink3 yet, but I know that drm free e-books are a good way to give Amazon less leverage over you, both as a reader and an author 👀

Natürlich kann man einen sonnigen Sonntag draußen verbringen, schwimmen gehen, irgendwie aktiv sein ODER man kann sich eine Ibu reinhaun und so lange schreien, bis man es geschafft hat, einen eBook-Lesefortschritt so halbwegs korrekt auf drei Endgeräten zu synchronisieren.

I'm tempted by the xteink3 but leery of its non-standard charging connection - I'd feel safer with the xteink4's usb-c. Neither until/unless that Google Android settlement gifts me enough $ to get it.

Can I help anywhere @graham.systems? I used to build digital book categorisation & ingestion systems so I’ve solid context in that space, and atproto (though I’ve not used KOReader, my xteink3 is yet to arrive 😅)
